Expand Your Skills  and Empower Your Practice

Group Yoga Class

The Center for Integrative Education is dedicated to advancing the massage therapy profession through high-quality education and professional development. We are committed to supporting holistic therapists while empowering both current practitioners and future generations of healers to thrive in an evolving healthcare landscape.

Co-founded by Victoria Moutahir and Regina Cobb, the Center is built on more than 50 years of combined experience as licensed massage therapists. United by a shared passion for education, we have spent over a decade serving as clinical instructors at the Community College of Rhode Island, mentoring students and helping shape the next generation of skilled, compassionate professionals.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, our profession has faced unprecedented challenges. Many therapists have left the field, private practices have closed, and educational institutions have been forced to shut their doors. In response to these shifts and the growing need for professional accountability, the state of Rhode Island implemented increased educational and continuing education requirements for massage therapists beginning in 2024.

Recognizing both the challenges and opportunities created by these changes, we founded the Center for Integrative Education to help rebuild and strengthen the profession. Our mission is to bridge the gap between new state standards and the practical, evolving needs of emerging and established healthcare professionals. By offering relevant, evidence-informed, and accessible education, we strive to support the long-term sustainability of massage therapy within integrative healthcare.
